Recently I've become interested in Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt writings, especially his short plays, and the reason is one of my friend who sent the books to me, today I read 'Partners in crime' and dare to call it a masterpiece. I think Schmitt critical view point and his background in philosophy is the most notable feature in his writings. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy and the title of his dissertation in Englis is "Diderot and Metaphysics".
