film project 2
The film project is basically finished, though still much visual and sound editing is remaining. We had two days of show/screening from musical theatre and reading novel to film screen. We were all participants/students of 'kulturparaply kurs' which in English means 'cultural umbrella course', I know it sounds very weird in English, but it simply refers to the different branches of art disciplines. After 4-5 months of fultime work, we were supposed to present/screen our projects to our friends and relatives (the first evening) which it turned to be a nightmare for me. To make the story short, I faced some technical problem with my macbook pro and I couldn't show the film. More luckily, more than 15 friends showed up there and by seeing every familiar face I just felt worse in my stomach. The film is almost finished and that's the good part of the story! :)

film project process
Such a shame! you appear after ages and want to say that you're bored at your job and want to get out of here and continue your film project! I've started my second film project last September and in less than two weeks I should screen it! I'm not even finished with filming! I'm doing all the stuff by myself and I have to admit it's not fun to accept such a responsibility! especially if you're a last minute person who spend 2 months in thinking and the last month on action! I couldn't fall asleep last night because of the heavy volume of unfinished works to do! I got up a few times and wrote the works/thoughts on the paper.
Aha! one more thing! I didn't get the Ph.D. position I was planning to! though I was not motivated enough to do my best to write a proper proposal,I was stupidly optimist that the position is mine!

Radio feature workshop
Today was the last day of our 'Radio Feature Workshop' week. It was such an amazing experience. We spent a whole week working on the concept of alternative radio with daily tasks and at the end, each of us made an audio piece about 5 minutes. Our trainers (two smart and professional guys), their specific plan and the intimate atmosphere were probably the most important reasons for such a success. I am definitely so grateful for having the chance of being in this workshop. Besides, being around and living together with all these different people made this experience a unique one. We discussed our future plans today and I just hope we can bring the ideas to work.

little pieces of paper
We are done with our short documentary called 'little pieces of paper'. The guy, Papa Fahr was amazing and I enjoyed the experience very much though one of the class/group-mates is a strange weirdo. The whole project took more than 3 weeks and the last days we were working on the editing stuff till 10-11 pm. The final result looks promising.... here is Papa Fahr's homepage and some of his works:

Documentary project
We stated filming today! We're doing a short documentary of a singer, writer, musician and poet (he also identifies himself as a political activist) called Kjell Castberg. His artistic name is PapaFahr and he had such a unique, strange but small apartment a good match of his unique character. The objects he had at home were amazing. We will continue filming him tomorrow and by Thursday will start editing.

Tired of this never ending winter
I can tell you... It's not easy to live in Sweden, sitting by your desk watching the gloomy, snowy weather through your window and gazing at your friends' photos in bikinis and tops and not wondering 'hmmm... how does it feel like??' I honestly have forgotten the fruity feeling of enjoying the sun! When I came to Sweden for the first time I didn't get 'this most common complaint' about Sweden serious, my reaction was 'Oooh no, I love cloudy weather, I love to have run over unspoiled snow! well... you can change your mind sometimes…
Am impatiently waiting for the dear Sun! Sorry that I cursed you as a child!
